May 22, 2024. Applicant update: Got a little bit worried because haven't heard anything from the consulate. My fiancée and I both reached out to the Polish embassy using the email listed for Warsaw https://pl.usembassy.gov/embassy-consulate "E-mail Addresses – Warsaw support-Poland@ustraveldocs.com for all types of visa inquiries (immigrant, nonimmigrant, and diversity visa) and other consular issues;" We both got automated replies. Mine was not substantive (they asked me to send a picture of my passport, which I did not do). However, Alina got the following reply (5/20/2024): "Dear Applicant, Thank you for responding to the US Visa Services Desk. Please, be advised to send your inquiry directly to the U.S. Consular Section in Almaty at the following e-mail address: USAKZ@state.gov. When sending an email to usakz@state.gov you receive the bounce back email with links to “U.S. citizen” and “visa inquiries” Navigators. The navigator will guide you to information that you need, and help you ask the Embassy/Consulate for assistance as well. Click “VISA Navigator”, choose the item you need, and follow the instruction. Please visit our website www.ustraveldocs.com if you have any further questions." I ended up emailing and got an automated response directing me to use their Visa Navigator, which was a Google Doc which was a deadend (basically directed us to check out case status online, which we were already doing @egov.uscis.gov) I ended up emailing NVCINQUIRY@state.gov for an update and got an automated response with a self-service link to ceac.state.gov. After entering my case number, I did get a little hope in the notice there which said out case was updated April 30 (20 days ago), and there is a "Ready" status with a note that our case is ready for our interview when scheduled at the US Consular Section. Not sure, but I think I remember reading somewhere that for K-1 Visa interviews, the consulate schedules the interview, not the petitioner or beneficiary. So, I guess we are still waiting for that.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
