Hello sir,
I have an inquiry regarding k1 visa. It’s been 3 months and I haven’t really received the packet 4 from Mumbai embassy. I have received the welcome letter on 5th dec. and the immigrate case visa is showing “Ready”. Do you really need packet 4 to proceed? I’m like confused :((
Shriinvest on 2024-03-18 said:
no you dont need packet 4 you need to get register book for the appointment, did you fill out DS160 then you need to go to usvisascheduleing website and register and book for the appointment.

You dont need to wait for Packet4 , you can go ahead , you can read it on the forum everyone same issue , many times they dont even send you packet 4. you need to book the medical and then book the appointment.

Thank you so much for you information. You’re so kind. I am just worried what if they ask for packet4. If they did then I’m pretty sure my interview appointment will get cancelled
Shriinvest on 2024-03-18 said:
Don't worry Packet 4 is nothing but checklist. see the sample packet4 for Mumbai consulate you don't need it they wont ask for it.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
