The medical exam was March 25, 2008 and the Visa interview was scheduled for April 1, 2008. Unfortunately, the chest x-ray taken March 25 had a "suspicious abnormality". She had to return March 31, April 1, and April 2 for the sputum test for tuberculosis. She returned April 3 for her pulmonary review where we they showed her the x-ray and learned she has a scar on her left lung. We are delayed until June 4 when she has to call them for the results of the sputum test for tuberculosis. If she either doesn't have TB or if she has inactive TB, they will clear her, reschedule her to receive the vaccinations and reschedule the Visa interview. God willing, everything is going to be fine!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
