The officers were very friendly and helpful in Seattle. I was traveling alone with our 3-month-old daughter and they did their best to make it a smooth process for us. |

I had my K-3 visa interview today and I must say I read all the reviews before my interview and they were right on target. The people were friendly, helpful and informative. They also were very helpful and speedy with emails, prior to my interview. I wasn't asked for evidence of support or even the proof I'd paid my interview fee, which I found weird. Then after submitting my forms, photos, waiting about two hours to answer about five easy questions, I was told to go see DHL and arrange to have my visa deliverd. There is also a very nice bathroom and vending machine inside the waiting area, so you have all bases covered. I was very impressed with the Johannesburg office after having numerous bad experiences with the Durban branch. |

Embassy Review : |
Our experience with the local office in Yakima, WA was good. We arrived a little early for my biometrics appointment; went through security without any issues, were called up within five minutes, and then five minutes later we were on our way home. They were so friendly and professional during the whole process of taking my fingerprints and photo.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
