Hello, I wanted to ask how did your interview go? What did they ask of you? Did they ask for certain documents?
Void04 on 2024-06-09 said:
Hello! Just civil documents, especially my previous divorce decree from Nevada. Asked 3 basic questions, if this is our first marriages, was it arranged, are we cousins, and that's it.

Did you submit a new/updated i864?
Void04 on 2024-06-09 said:
Yes, updated and uploaded all relevant documents (affidavit, taxes, W2, etc.)

I'm sorry to bother you over and over but do you have a full list of what you uploaded? Or what did you bring to the interview. I'm very nervous and my husband is going to his interview Tuesday. This is so important to us

No worries! I ended up uploading an updated set of the following: i864, tax return for 2023, W2 for 2023, employment letter confirmation, new pay stubs for the past 3 months, and even receipts of flights I booked in the past 2 years. Hope that helps! If you have any other questions feel free to write them all in one post and I'll reply to each as a bullet point. Best of luck to you guys!

He was approved thank God. Waiting on visa

Congratulations! Will take around a week (if you selected pick up for the passport), otherwise add a few days for delivery. But best practice is to wait for the visa to be in hand before you book the flight. Congrats again and best of luck with your guy's new life in the States!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
