Consulate Review: Juarez, Mexico
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : February 8, 2008
Embassy Review : I have to say this is the day I thought my life fell apart...this experience was horrible, but as I look back I am now so grateful to have my family together. This appointment/interview continued for days, to result in my husband being forced to stay in Mexico by hiself for an unknown timeframe, which ended up being over 8 months. At this time, our son was about to celebrate his first birthday and I was sent home to begin my journey back home as single mother. As many can understand I was very sad, yet angry that they could do this to us it was horrible. It was not until 8 months later that I made the dreaded trip back to Ciudad Juarez in hopes of bring my husband home. With great happiness, we returned home together to start again where we had left of at. It turned into one of the happiest days of our lives.
