Such an easy experience at the Detroit Tunnel border. The gentlemen were joking around with us and being great. One Officer was teaching another how to process a visa such as mine so it was a learning experience for him. We're getting married in Vegas this month (may) so one guy joked as we left "Remember, what happens in Vegas...". They made my experience a very positive one - and I was scared of these guys at first! |

The Montreal Consulate experience was a great one for me.
As I was very nervous, the staff put me well at ease. The blond haired lady I dealt with at the counter spoke to me very politely and was a very friendly individual. She was patient while I looked through my paperwork for the correct items she needed and nicely explained what she needed for me to do next.
When it came to my interview, the gentleman was extremely friendly, making my interview the complete opposite I was expecting (a complete interrogation). He made both me and my fiance at complete ease and was a pleasure to talk to.
Obviously my Visa got approved - or else I wouldn't be singing Montreal's US Consulate's praises! |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
