Hi, you mentionned that your case left NVC on 1-nov 2023. Did you receive your interview letter. your Consulate is Paris right ?

Hello! I was Documentarily Qualified yesterday, Nov 1st 2023, so I suppose NVC sent the case to the Paris Embassy that same day. But no, I haven't received my interview letter yet. Reddit discussions say Paris interview letters are now taking about 6-9 weeks to arrive...

Ok thank you.
If I understand the process correctly, once you receive a "Documentarily Qualified" (DQ) status, your case file typically remains at the National Visa Center (NVC) until you receive the interview letter. Then, the NVC will send your file to the consulate where your interview will take place.
You can verify the current status by logging into your DS-260 page. There, you'll find information in the top right corner indicating the current location of your case.
Despite being DQ since September 20th, 2023, our case is still at the NVC :
CASE NUMBER: PRS2023xxxxxx
VISA CLASS: IR1
YOUR CASE IS CURRENTLY AT: NVC

Thank you for the clarification! You're right, my case is still at NVC. I will fix my VisaJourney Timeline. I'll follow your Timeline to have an idea of when my letter might arrive!

Thank you! You too :) Have you gotten your medical done? My husband's unsure if he needs the polio vaccine. He's visited the USA for more than 4 weeks but not in the last year.

Yes got my medical done with Dr. Francis Slattery. (https://us-immigration-medical-paris.10eylau.com/vaccins/)
I wasn't up-to-date on my vaccinations. The "DTPolioCoqueluche" vaccine (which contains Polio vaccine) needs to be within the last 10 years, so I got a booster before my medical.
For your spouse case, maybe give the clinic a call to be sure about his vaccination situation.

Hi Sarah sofia
Hope you're well, I noticed that your husband and I had our interview at the same date...02/21/2024..
I would like to know if he has received his passport and his visa ?

Hi! Sorry, I hadn't updated the timeline. It was ready for pickup in Paris 02/23/2024 and he picked it up 02/29/2024. Did you ask yours to be sent by mail? That probably takes longer. Best

No no unfortunately one document was missing, the CO asked to provide this document by mail ...the ambassy received the document on 27/02 ...So I'm still waiting for the pasport and the visa to be picked up in Paris

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
