My appointment was at 8 30, I got there at 7 45 and stood in a long queue. I think it doesnt matter when is your appointment time, its more like first come first serve. Theres a little shop to leave your phone or bag and also a lot of ayis who will take care of your belongings for you. The queue at the entrance was moving fast, got inside, went through security, to the third floor, got my number and waited at the zone A. Pretty soon my number was called, a Chinese lady has asked for my name, who is the joint sponsor and when our marriage took place. She asked for original birth certificate, police records, marriage certificate, passport, photos, petitioners taxes for 2022. Gave her all the document, she gave me my number back and told me to wait at the zone B. At this time it was 8 15 and I think I was among the last few people who entered the third floor. Zone B had about 50 people at that time, only two windows working. Towards 9 30-10 things started going a bit faster, my number was called at about 10 35, my interviewer was a guy, very nice and polite, asked who is my petitioner? whats his name? when did we get married? Tell me about your relationship. Where is your husband now? Were you previously married? He asked to see the photos, I gave them printed photos, he kind of looked through them fast and gave them back. Said that visa was approved, congratulations! |

Timeline Comments: 1Have you received your date for the interview
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
