Comments : Entry was easy at Detroit! The worker let us both go to the US passport line, they took us to the back office which lasted only about 15 minutes. The male worker was extremely pleasant and friendly.

How long did you have to wait to get an interview date from when you were documentarily qualified from NVC? From your timeline it looks like 5 days? but that can't be possible...

We were approved for expedite, so NVC just sends your stuff to the embassy and from there NVC is done. All I had to do was send an email to the embassy and they let me schedule it myself.

Hazdawg, we were notified to schedule our interview within a couple days, we didn't have to wait for them to schedule because the expedite was approved so we skipped NVC pretty much. To expedite, we sent an email to the NVC expedite email address along with some proof of the reason we were requesting, and then within a couple days they responded.
