Congratulations on moving forward in your journey! Did you by chance have any circumstances that moved you quicker through the process? We filed in January and are still waiting. Seeing your timeline is giving me some hope that we’ll hear something soon ?

Hello! Did you file in January this year? We filed in February last year... all in all it's going to be just over 18 months until you get the visa. We did not expedite. Nothing can make it go quicker other than being prepared with the documents you need for the interview e.g. police check, medical info, financial records etc. You can start gathering all of that now so you are ready.

Hi! I think there was just confusion because it says you received your NOA1 in February of 2023. I also assumed you had filed Feb of this year and wanted to see if your case was expedited. Congratulations!

Oh thank you for pointing that out. It was a mistake on my part. It seems to be moving along a little quicker now. I see people are getting NOA2 within a year of NOA1 so hopefully you will get yours soon. Good luck.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
