We had a 5 hour layover in Miami, and needed every bit of it. After my passport was stamped, we were sent to an office to wait. Unfortunately, 13 refugees were just in front of us. We waited 2 hours 45 minutes, but once I saw our envelopes in the officer's hand, it was only 10 minutes. After leaving the office, we grabbed our bags, ate lunch, and got to the gate just in time to board our flight. |

The K2 got a RFE for medical exam even though we sent the same info for both. It is unfair, but I'm too scared to not get another exam. The exam is today and we'll send back the RFE. |

Embassy Review : |
I had a great experience at the Embassy. Everyone was serious but polite. The whole thing was pretty quick. We arrived at 6:40am and were done before 11:00. There was a lot of waiting, but the time went by quickly. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
