Interview went so smoothly and was simple and straight forward. We took a lot of picture albums with us to show our 3 wedding ceremonies and that seemed to be enough proof. Only snag was that Tim's K1 portion of the file hadn't been shipped to our local office so the official approval will come when the local office receives that file, hopefully at the end of the week. Overall, great experience. |

Embassy Review : |
Couldn't have been simpler. Reached JFK at 3:40 PM, and walked quickly to the Immigration. Unfortunately quite a few flights had reached around that time and the place was swamped. Around 200 or more people in front of me. Fortunately it went fast and I was at the immigration counter in about an hour. The officer opened the envelope and confirmed details on his 'puter. I was asked to give my fingerprints and he took the picture. He then put all the papers (from the Embassy, the original petition with the approved stamp) in a green folder and directed me to the end of the corridor. People with their documents in red folders were being put through extra scrutiny. I however passed on the end of the corridor and was directed along another corridor to the officer who examined my documents, stamped my I-94 with the EAD and sent me on my way. Perfect! Couldn't have been easier. In all it took around 1h30m. Picked up my luggage and onwards to my connection. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
