Hello! We are from the same country. Its great to see someone from Bangladesh on VisaJourney. I saw your post on March 2022 filers forum.
Our timelines are very similar. My i130 didn’t get approved yet. How do you know your case got transferred to Nebraska?

Hi Fatema. Yes, it's nice to see others from the same country. I didn't get an approval yet and it's driving me insane. Thinking about doing a congressional inquiry if I don't hear back by next month. I wrote to them inquiring from my uscis account about which Service Center my case is processing. They took roughly about 3 weeks to respond. I also asked them when I called them to find out some information. Hopefully that helped answer your question.

Congrats on your i130 approval! Did you write to your congressman? Could you give an idea about what you emailed them?

Thank you. I went to their website and submitted a request for help with a federal agency. You just have input the information they require. I actually reached out to two, one said nothing will happen if they inquire because it's still within normal processing time. The other one just submitted the inquiry yesterday, so I doubt it had anything to do with that but you can go ahead try. Try all necessary options that's at your disposal. InshaAllah you'll hear back soon in coming weeks.

Hello! Hope you’re doing well. How long did it take at the NVC stage for you to be DQ?
SumHas on 2023-05-25 said:
I haven't submitted any documents yet because my husband's police report got lost and now we are waiting for the second one to come. They say it takes roughly about 2 weeks for them to review the documents.

Hello! Hope you’re doing well. Is your husband done with his interview yet?
SumHas on 2023-09-13 said:
Yes. He got his approval. Will be here next week inshaAllah. What's happening with your husband's case? Did he get an interview dare yet?
FatemaZAlam on 2023-09-13 said:
Did you expedite your case? Dhaka embassy is taking a long time for giving out interview letters. When was your DQ date? I still did not get my interview letter. Did your husband appear for interview from Dhaka embassy?
SumHas on 2023-09-13 said:
Dq date was June 27th, a month after we submitted the documents. Our request to expedite was approved because of my pregnancy. May be that's why it was done sooner. Did you create a ustravel account?
FatemaZAlam on 2023-09-13 said:
MashaAllah! Congrats, you’re expecting! Yeah that could be the reason for expedite. It makes sense now. I still haven’t created a ustravel account. I did not get the email instructing to create one though. When did you create yours? After getting the interview letter?
SumHas on 2023-09-13 said:
I created it before the interview letter. If you create an account you can send them messages asking for an update. Thank you, I had a baby girl in May.
FatemaZAlam on 2023-09-13 said:
Where exactly did you create the account? If you could provide a link, would really appreciate it. TIA

HI,
I am glad to see you both in VJ from Bangladesh. Just a simple question,
I see you got your interview within 4 months after NVC received. That was pretty fast. Did you expedite?
I got DQ'ed last week.

@fatema the website is ustraveldocs.com
@ovaaaao1 My lawyer requested for expedited case, they approved it.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
