Consulate Review: Amsterdam, Netherlands Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : February 13, 2024 Embassy Review : My appointment was at 13:30. I Arrived at the consulate at 13:00. Was outside at 14:15. Went through a general security check. You can leave you bag at the consulate, there is no need to use lockers in the area. Also do not bring in binders with hard covers or metal rings. I had an accordion folder with me which was fine. After the security check you head into a room where a hostess got the paperwork ready for me and others. Basically everything they would ask for they gathered before you even go up to a window. The first time they call you up you hand off your documents, they scan them in and take fingerprints. You're then dismissed and have to wait. Once called again you are sworn to tell the truth and they ask you questions, at this windows you'll hear if it's approved or not. Between the call ups it's mostly just waiting. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rating : Good
