Consulate Review: Ireland
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : May 20, 2008
Embassy Review : Aidan had his interview at 1 p.m. He arrived about 10 minutes early. When he first got there they had all the people for visa interviews queue up to give your name and then they called you by name up to the counter. The person looks at all your paperwork and sends you to another counter to pay the fee. He sat and waited to be called again for his interview. His interview took about 10 minutes and the guy asked basic questions (when are you getting married, where, asked where my father lived, when did we start thinking about marriage). He said the people were nice. After the interview he waited about an hour to get his visa. The whole process took about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
