:) that's great. Good luck they should be getting a case number soon. I just got a RFE for submitting the Arabic birth certificate with separate transition, it seems they want the official bilingual Arabic/English birth certificate. I see you're from Alexandria too. Did you have to get your bilingual Egyptian birth certificate from Alexandria or you went to Cairo?

Hello Isalm, Can you please tell what was the issue with the birth certificate if you don't mind? I submitted all paperwork for my stepdaughter and want to make sure birth certificate and police report was done correctly in Egypt. Thank you.

Make sure it's official bilingual (half English half Arabic) birth certificate/marriage certificate/ divorce certificate. The one I submitted was just Arabic with English translation. For police report, we submitted the Arabic with translation for NVC. This report only last I think 2 months so we'll have to have another police report made during the interview. I'm still waiting for case complete through NVC Best of luck to all of us :D

Thank you for responding. the birth certificate and police report we submitted were translated by an authorized translation office in Egypt and we got it stamped from the Ministry Of Interior and the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs. I hope they accept them.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
