Hey Henry. Please let’s chat here. Also, Texas center has transferred all k1 visas cases to California center. I received a notice of “request for additional evidence†on November 1st and the notice came from the California center. They also included an envelope that has the address of the California service center to put my evidences inside the envelope and send it back to them. (The envelope couldn’t handle all my evidences so I used one of the post office envelope and put my evidences inside of it. And then sent out everything including the letter notice and the envelope). I use the Case tracker app to check the progress of my case, so it shows that they’ve received my evidences and are working on it since 7 days ago… I hope I summarize everything here. But if not please shoot your questions and I’ll try my best to answer.

I see, in this case, I think your spouse must write to the embassy in Bénin and give them a good and very convincing reason why you want the case to be transferred to us embassy in Bénin. One thing I know for sure is that they process visa or any other immigration cases very quickly in that Embassy. Good luck with everything brother.

During the Covid season, it took my sister in law 4months to get her passport back after the interview. As of now, it may take up to a month or two depending on how busy they are.

I’m currently waiting for my interview letter for Benin consulate. I’m in f2A category. I was DQ since November 16th. My brother was dq September 9th and he was scheduled for December 21st. His visa is approved but we are waiting for them to notify us about passport pickup. It’s been more than a week

Which day of the month does nvc send letters for interview in Benin?
Fabric on 2022-12-30 said:
Please give them another week or 2. They will call your brother directly on his cell phone to come get his passport and visa so make sure his phone is on all the time. But If you don’t here back from them, then you can send them en email for clarifications. And congrats to your brother.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
