Embassy Review : |
We arrived there fairly early. I had gone from the US to be with my fiance, wasn't really sure if they'd let me into the embassy but was worth a try. Our interview was at 8:00 am and they started letting us form the line outside the embassy around 7:30. I was allowed in without any issues. I told them that I am the petitioner and showed my US passport.
There were two interviews, the first one was by an Indian person and the second one was by an American one. I did not accompany my fiance to the actual interview but was waiting in the seating area and was able to see her during her interview.
Overall the interview experience was positive, the process was fairly efficient. We were out of the embassy at around 10:15am after an 8:00am interview. The seating area is fairly small and there's a lot of other business being done other than just visa interviews so the entire place looks fairly cramped (typical of an Indian govt. offical building). |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
