Embassy Review :	it was a good experience in general, interview hardly took 5-10mins (although took 2.30hr total for the whole process), visa officer asked about when we first met, how often he came to visit me, how long he stayed and if we stayed together during that time, my fiancee work, and that was it. finally he said "congratulations, your visa is approved",

You won't get any instructions from embassy, you can check online, pay Visa fee, schedule interview and medical, then you are good to go,

Yes you need to schedule your interview date first, it's weird but that's how it goes,, take that letter and nvc letter with you, that's all you need for medical

Hi @HGill43 / @Hiteshk1, Which site did you use to schedule k1 appointment? Is it ustraveldocs.com Which form did you file DS260 or DS160 ? On this site k1 visa is listed under immigrant visa. I tried to put Delhi as location but k1 is not listed there so I selected Mumbai. (I don't know why my file was sent to New Delhi). In the form it asks for DS260 confirmation number. Did you fill DS160 number or DS260 confirmation number? Towards the end, it again mentions DS160 when i asks for fees. It is so confusing. Just wanted to make sure I am doing it right. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

you are doing right, yes it ask for DS260 number but you have to add DS160 number, you can not pay w/ credit card, you have to select cash deposit at citi bank, and then it will generate a deposit slip, print and take that to citi or axis bank and make a deposit, it is very confusing,

you can't pay with CC, you have to ask someone in India to make a cash deposit, am in US as well and thats what I did, I tried CC but no luck,

@Hitesh1 Just FYI, My fiancee was able to schedule her medical for Max mohali, I have heard that even Max Lajput Nagar Delhi does not need welcome letter either, one of the girl in whatsapp ground is heading to delhi to get it done,

Congratulations @HGill43. I took around 3hours total. I could not get PCC in time so got 221g. Visa status says refused for now. I have to ubmit PCC and then it will prceed further.
