Comments : Received NOA2 dated 5/12/08 on 5/19/08.
Received NVC receipt notice dated 5/27/08 on 5/30/08. Unfortunately they are sending the case to the wrong embassy. Fiancee is moving back to Russia on 6/6/08. Lawyer's Moscow associate office is contacting the Moscow Embassy directly to ask them to request the file be transferred from the Abu Dhabi Embassy. Received Abu Dhabi packet on 6/23/08 with embassy appointment for 8/12 which we can't use. Called Dept of State 7/28/2008 who informed me Moscow received file 7/25/2008, with interview date 9/19/2008. Packet received 8/20/2008. Completed interview 9/19/2008 and visa received 9/26/2008.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
