Congrats!! So happy for you. At your total convenience, could you share what you can about the whole interview process? Thanks in advance...

I wasn't there so I can only tell you what my fiance' told me. At the first window he checked in and they took his paperwork. He did say that it was a good thing that I sent him, via post, all original paperwork because someone did not have original wedding or divorce papers and so they did not get their approval that day. He said that they asked if he would like an interpreter and if he prefers Urdu or Punjabi. He said that the officers were very nice. They asked basic questions: where did we meet, what is my job, do I talk with my family about him, do they like him, what are our wedding plans, does he know that we have to marry within 90 days of entering the US. He also said that they asked him the same question at least three times and they would circle back to a previous question. He said that they looked at our photo's but not any of our chat messages. They left the room for a minute and came back and said congratulations you should be getting your visa in about 10 days!! He said that the interview part took about 15 minutes. It sounds like he gave more information than what they asked for....he is a bit of a talker.lol

Hope you are doing well. Could you please tell me what documents my fiancé should bring on the day of the interview? I want to prepare so that everything my fiancé takes will be sufficient

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
