"Thank you for your October 24, 2023, correspondence on behalf of___, regarding the immigrant vasa case for ____
I can confirm that we received the applicant's DS5535 in July 2023.
Unfortunately, the administrative processing for this immigrant visa application has not yet concluded. While we cannot predict when the processing of the visa will be completed, please be assured that we are aware of your concerns and will do all we can to see that the application is adjudicated as soon as administrative processing of the case has been completed."
The Questionnaire has been received, but the case itself is still pending. I can follow up again in 90 days if there has been no movement or progression by then. I have set 24 January as our next follow-up date. In the meantime, please let me know if you have any questions or updates as they arise.”
Inveigh on 2023-11-16 said:Fml. We’re in the same boat and we even contacted the White House (and got a more personalized letter) but they didn’t help a bit much more than the congressman. However we will keep you posted aswell when we get the visa

It is opposition to form 5535 and that the process of visa issuance and review of this form is prolonged under the pretext of this form. There’s 3 more days to comment. If the number of comments is high, they may delete form 5535. If they remove it and it becomes retroactive, we will be clearance. Hopefully.
