Embassy Review : |
My fiancé got there at 9:20 for a 9:45 am interview. He was let right in.
He was called to the first window for the paperwork. He got scolded for not bringing the paperwork in in advance. I read the instructions multiple times and never saw that requirement. It literally says bring with you to the interview. Apparently they want them no later than 7 days prior, so be aware of that. Fortunately I had given him almost 100 pages of forms, documents, and pictures that they could POSSIBLE have asked for, so he had exactly what they needed.
He was the first one in today of the five visa appointments. The man doing the interview was very kind. Asked typical questions: where we met, when we last saw each other. He asked my fiancé if he knew of my prior divorces (yikes).
At the end he said everything looked good on his end, he’d get an email this afternoon confirming the approval (we didn’t, but the website now shows approved) and the visa would be ready in 1-2 weeks! |

Timeline Comments: 5Congrats on your progress!! Second Visa Journey friend today I've seen with this update! Hearing from others that Argentina is approving virtually all of theirs lately and are very nice and easy to work with. There's also a WhatsApp group for Argentino K1s so you might look for that, if you aren't already there. My fiancée joined recently and it's very helpful for her. Take care!
I’m in the group as well! Very helpful!!
Hello! I see that you guys have the interview same day and same embassy than me. I have interview at 9.45 am because they moved it earlier. What time is your interview scheduled?
yes they moved us earlier as well! same time!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
