I have not recieved approval yet nor asked for Biometrics. I sent a case status inquiry and through hilites but not my UCIS account that a response was sent as to why my case is taking longer then usual. It doesn't state whether it was sent by mail or email. I have not either recieved resonse by any means. Feeling frustrated.

I finally recieved a email 1/26/24 stating my petition required further review and is with a officer adjudicating petition. The update in my uscis account has 4 weeks before a decision and the email 60 days for notice or action.

After the email recieved it showed 4 months before a decision, it counted down then another 4 months appeared. I contacted my congressman and recieved a form to fill out. Waiting for something to have our case moving from 3-22-22 to current makes no sense. We are allowed due process per the law.

Correction...it was 4 weeks then it counted down and bumped up to 4 months.

Finally USCIS made a movement on our case, I recieved a RFE on June 21, 2024, I don't think it had to do with contact of congressman. I believe it had to do when I reported through Omendsbud, I have to come back and spell it correctly, shortly before recieving RFE, I did recieve notice from Crongress stating they are working on my case and it will be expedited as soon as USCIS recieves what they need and it will be processed according to law.

The correct spelling is Ombudsman

I want to mention the RFE request was tedious, I was asked to write name, location and date of picture and everyone in it. I was asked for phone bills of calls. We both use the social platforms calls that are free. I submitted those. They wanted pictures of us together. I'm not into pictures unless special occasions like wedding, which I did turn that in and when my husband and I went into ministry, our first visit to see each other we celebrated our marriage in a hall and the following days we were going to different places to preach the gospel and minister to the poor in the brick kilns. These 2 are the only that we have pictures showing together and of course at his family, the pics with his family was initially sent in with the petition.

Recieved message from USCIS on September 27, 2024 that my petition is actively in review. I guess it's same date they are using that my RFE recieved. I should get a letter stating exact date.

CORRECTION...I was only able to send whatsapp call logs. We are more on messenger calls but there's no way to access them so I sent what I could.

I'm so delighted that our case is being worked on. You know I'm the USA petitioner who petitioner my foreigner husband. Last status I was told my case is at the Chicago field office. It not registered because I contacted through Emma a tier 1 USCIS officer to inquire about expedite. Afterwards I thought as to maybe I was giving misinformation because my case should be at Texas Service Center as I filed consular processing so surely there must be a error. On Tuesday 2 USCIS officers came to my home. It was a pleasant visit and one asked a few questions while the other was taking notes. The lead officer was very nice. I believe they are still in the midst of investigating and once complete I should recieve an answer. My husband asked if I offered drink and food and I told him this is not a time because it's official, serious, important business for them to accomplish and move to the next one. Questions asked; why husband name not on my home, why have I not visited him since 2022, do I have family and friends, if he can look in my closests(I have a Office and bedroom. Each have a closest with my things in them) Who's furniture in this room(my office). He asked when last time I spoke to my husband in showed him our text from early that morning and he took a picture. He also took a picture of a video call I had with my husband with timestamp on both. He asked what was the nick name I gave my husband on messenger chat because it was in Spanish. He asked who else lives in my home. He asked if I go to church. I'll keep updating when status updates.

*****CORRECTION ***** It was Wednesday USCIS came to my home, not Tuesday.

Found a update on my USCIS account. The format was changed, how it shows part 2 of 2. It shows that part 1 of 2 was completed and now we are waiting for part 2 to complete, which is a decision on our petition. I believe it's been like 64 days since last active status of USCIS recieving my response of RFE, 9-27-24. Recently we both experienced crises in our lives, he broke his leg on his shin in 3 places and my income decreased and problem with my home mortgage.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
