10/05/2022 NVC responded that they never received a request from the congressman. Congressman notified and said that it was denied
10/10/2022 By this time I had gotten some scary medical news and we decided to use the medical basis and reapply. Expedite request sent
10/15/2022, 10/25/2022, 10/29/2022 & 11/02/2022 Inquiry sent on status with no response
10/31/2022 Notified that NVC was trying to DQ us but they didn’t like the AOS form we used.
11/14/2022 Sent email stating that it had been greater than 30 days since submitting expedite and requested status of our case
11/15/2022 Received email that expedite was resent to embassy
11/15/2022 Case changed to repay fees
11/22/2022 expedite approved
11/29/2022 requested assistance in expedite scheduling due to no available appointments. 01/19/2023 given
12/15/2022 found a date on the CGI website for 12/15/2022 and scheduled it
12/06/2022 medicals completed after some “convincingâ€
12/14/2022 traveled to Lagos and stayed at

From my husband’s perspective:
12/15/2022 Got there by 5am even though it was a 5mins walking distance and was told to wait till 6am before we could go in. At 6 was told my name and 3 others were not on the manifest for that day interviewðŸ˜. I want to round mad oo😟
We were taken out of the line and was told to send a mail to Lagos IV and you know they don’t respond on time or call the Call Agent
Since it was a Thursday they open by 9am we had to wait from 6am-9am we called no positive response ooo
Lagos IV messages me saying there’s no appointment for 15th but my former 19th Jan 2023 I was devastated but my lovely wife told me not to worry

I kept sending emails back and forth to Lagos I. And Support-Nigeria with screenshots of proofs of confirmation of appointment at 11 am I was already loosing it and then I saw a mail telling me to go back that my name has been included for the interview of the day
Oh dear peoples of God I ran like Elijah
And I got in my name was called they were telling me to stop to catch my breath and I was attended to sharply because they knew my case and the struggle
Finally I was interviewed by Window 19th black smart woman
CO: who the petitioner?
Co: can I have your birth certificate,Police Certificate and one passport photo?
Co: W2 2021 can I have it?
Co: can I have your proof of relationship?
Co: how and where did you meet your wife?
Co: have you been married,arrested,have kids or been convicted for any crime whatsoever?
Co: have you read the pamphlets before you?
Co: your visa has been approved
She scrutinized me but to God be the glory
I was APPROVED oooooðŸ¾âœ¨ðŸ’¥ðŸ
Prior to the interview my wife had already booked my flight and it was scheduled for 2 days after the interview …
So after the Interview the next day being Friday it changed to AP and it was pending till Monday cox it was on a weekend
I visited the Dhl office in VI and asked if I could get the visa that Monday and he said No
That they only receive IV on Tuesdays from the embassy I was confused because my flight was for the next day and I couldn’t reschedule my flight
So I sent an email to LagosIV for an emergency passport collection Note: I wasn’t issued yet
They didn’t respond to the first and second email but to the third one
And they told me that my visa has been printed and will be sent to DHl the next day and I will pick up Wednesday
I checked my phone indeed it was issued that morning, I sent another email attached my flight itinerary stating I need to travel the next day which was Tuesday and after going back and forth with em they responded that it was going to be sent to DHL that same day (Monday) I rushed out to the Dhl office around past 3pm to confirm and they told me to come the next day long story cut short I came the next day i have a special case that made me not to be on the queue I just walked straight to the dhl officials and got my passport I traveled that same day from Lagos to Abuja and from Abuja to the States
At the POE the officer looked at my passport and asked for the name of my wife and her phone number
I told him
He asked when did we get married I told him June 23rd 2022
He asked where did I meet my wife I said Facebook (Steve Harvey show)
He said you guys have been married for just 6 months? I said yes
He said wow that’s fast the visa process
I said yeah it was God’s blessing
He looked at me shook his head and said give me your address here in the US I did and he said welcome to America
My flight was delayed I was supposed to leave Chicago by 3pm to be at Phoenix at 6:22pm but we got delayed as we were about to fly they discovered that the landing gears were bad do er had to wait for another flight and we left by 6pm and got down by 10pm
All glory to God it’s been a short journey but filled with challenges it was God all the way

Put in the request for an expedite and they keep declining. Hell not even me telling them that I have freaking cancer and backed it up with doctor letters from my doctors is moving these people. So when you specialist who are you referring to. We just need the damn interview date already. We've been dealing with this immigration since 2020.
