Anyway, a couple of days later we got an e-mail notification that we had been sent an RFE...

Appt. : 2007-09-25 Approved Date : 2008-04-17 Date Card Received : 2008-04-24 Comments : Contacted our Congressman in January 08 becasue we were outside the processing times and no-one was giving us any information. Was then told that it was stuck in background check and could take up to six months. In April we contacted the congressman's office again re the I485 and I130 coz was outside the processing times and no one was giving any useful info and 5 days later we got the card production ordered e-mail!!! Processing Estimates/Stats : Your EAD was approved in 267 days.
