Comments : My case was transferred to California and we were not asked to attend an interview.

I received my approval notice and green card in the mail on the same day!

I should mentioned I did not receive any email notices for the AOS, nor for the EAD/parole though I had signed up for them - and the status online still appears as 'pending' though everything has been approved.

Consulate Review: Vancouver, Canada
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : February 26, 2009
Embassy Review : I was able to reschedule the interview via email so my fiance could attend when he was in Vancity with me.

The interview itself was easy peasy - everyone was friendly. They asked the standard questions, no surprises.

Rating : Very Good

POE Review: Toronto
Event Description
Entry Date : 2008-10-03
Embassy Review : Toronto Pearson Airport

I was directed to go through to secondary which was a bit frightening at the time - I was also a mess as my best friend dropped me off just a moment before. The agent that I approached told me that they only processed K1 on Tuesdays - when his partner saw my face fall he interrupted + said his buddy was just kidding. PHEW.

I filled out the forms they gave me - everyone was really nice + joking around. It was really quiet, no one else there except for me. It all went quickly + smoothly.
Harassment Level : High

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
