Hi! I just got an email saying Ankara has received our petition. In the email, they gave me a link to the PDF of instructions and asked for the email address and name of my fiance (beneficiary). Did you schedule an interview after this email or will they send another email to the beneficiary with more information? Also, how easy was it to schedule an interview?
Inveigh on 2023-05-03 said:
Schedule it now my friend
Shamim91 on 2023-05-12 said:
how was the interview? so now u r on FBI check?
Inveigh on 2023-05-12 said:
The interview was easy, but they put us down for a DS-5355 which we assume is the FBI check. We have heard for our case it might take 3 months. But have already emailed our Senator to get things rolling faster. We also have had 3 expedited from the White House for I129F, NVC and Embassy so this might help

Inveigh on 2023-06-07 said:
Greetings, Shamim91, we got the form the same day

I am following your journey. We are in a high fraud country and we're placed in AP just yesterday. Very disheartening news after an almost 2 years wait time.
Inveigh on 2023-07-28 said:
Best of luck Kcpaty, hopefully your processing completes quick enough.

Did you get your visa yet?
Inveigh on 2023-09-21 said:
no, still waiting
Samaneh on 2023-10-03 said:
I wonder why they give AP to most of the Iranians... like is it because of the military service for men or what?
Inveigh on 2023-10-05 said:
I have no clue; they never make it apparent as to why this happens.
Shamsja on 2023-10-25 said:
Are you planning to contact a lawyer or will you wait for the 6 months to see if you hear back about the administrative processing?
Inveigh on 2023-10-25 said:
I already hired a lawyer. We got a motion to dismiss. We’re in the process of fighting it now. We will see what happens

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
