Consulate Review: Tokyo, Japan Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Event Description Review Date : March 5, 2025 Embassy Review : Everything went smoothly, I hope, very similar to other reports about the embassy. They told us that sometimes people submit their documents and then leave before fingerprints and the actual interview, so don't let that be you! Questions they asked: How old is your spouse? When and how did you meet? When did you decide to get married? Have you been to the US? Are his parents also from (state he lives in)? When do you intend to move to the US? Were either of you married before? Do you have any children together or from previous relationships? Do you have any questions for me? They said I will receive my passport back after 7-10 days. Hopefully the visa will be issued and no problems. Everyone was super nice!! Good luck out there guys! Rating : Very Good
