Event Description
Review Date : August 22, 2022
Embassy Review : While the embassy is unable to give you any indication of when they might post new appointments, we were able to schedule one within a month and a week of the permission being granted. My fiance was approved pending the receipt of his medical paperwork. He was in the embassy for more than 4 hours and had a 20-minute appointment where they asked quite a large number of questions about our relationship and my parents and their jobs and my job etc. We are happy to have this stage through so we can be together finally

This is for a k1 visa. We have to schedule those ourselves. For spousal visas as far as I know you get put in a "priority date" line and wait for them to send you an interview letter. They schedule that.
