If you don't mind me asking, how did you get the appointment for your interview? Is there any strategy for finding available dates? Every time I open the webpage I just get "no appointments available".

I had the same problem, it's so frustrating. Just keep trying everyday and hope you get lucky. But you can only try a limited number of times before you get locked out (~8, I can't remember exactly). They open the interviews up at random times, I was trying as early as 6:30 am (VN time) and then every couple hours throughout the day so I didn't go over my limit. You can always try to get an expedited interview by sending inquiry to the Consulate online about the case and your reason. Just keep sending inquiries online. Good Luck!

I was warned about getting locked out but no one mentioned the limit. That's really helpful, thank you so much.
We'll stay on it every day then, and will definitely try to expedite.
Congratulations to you as well. I know it's a needlessly time consuming process.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
