Consulate Review: Montreal, Canada
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : November 20, 2022
Embassy Review : Very smooth experience. I was ultra prepared and had every document possible. I suggest you bring anything you can think of as they asked me for a tax return I didn't expect. The agent was super nice and the interview lasted 2 minutes. They just asked my longest trip to US (to check I'm not lying), when I first visited my spouse and when we married.
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: CDN-USA Border
Event Description
Entry Date : 2022-11-18
Embassy Review : Crossed at st Bernard de lacolle / Plattsburgh. It was smooth and the agents looked like they processed these routinely every other hour. Friday night took literally 5 min to stamp passport and we went on our way. They took the car while we were in the consular area but didn't check any of my boxes or ask about anything.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
