Comments : I-129F Recvd on Nov 29 3:23 PM at VT Center. Waiting for NOA1
12/5/07- My check was cashed
2/23/08- Got NOA2 letter although nothing has been posted to the USCIS website and they did not send me a notification email although I signed up for it. Hmmm. Woo Hoo.

When we got the NOA2, we waited 1 week and then sent all of the documents of Package 3 to the consulate via overnight mail. We did not wait for them to send them to us. We got a call around 1 week later. His interview was originally scheduled for 4/23, but one day after sending out packet 3, they got it, so they called him to reschedule it for 4/17.
We messed up and I didn't get the paperwork to him in time so he has to re-schedule the interview. They rescheduled for 6/13. I am actually glad abou tit because now I can take vacation and go to the interview with him.
I am glad that I went with him. He was really nervous. We were treated very well at the consualte. Everyone who had an appt on our date seemed to get the visa even those who were without thier American fiance(e). The only people that did not get it was a couple who were frantically trying to fill out all the paperwork ont eh spot. Do yourself a favor and do everything in advance!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
