Bonshawn on 2023-02-16 said:Hi! We’ve been making inquiries with AskNVC. On 1/26, they said they had our case but haven’t entered into their systems. On 2/9, we received our case number. On 2/14, we got an email that said our case was in transit. Today on 2/15, our case was ready according to CEAC. You should make an inquiry with AskNVC to receive your case number. Otherwise, you won’t get any notification until the embassy emails you. It’s very likely your case is ready as well or will be within the next 1-2 weeks.

However we spoke to some people who went through the visa process in Bogota and they said that the welcome packet is generic and doesn’t tell you anything new. So we went ahead and just booked an appt. We also booked 1.5 months from now so assuming the welcome pack would arrive by then anyways

The green cars is a conditional green card valid for 2 years.
