on NVC website is written that they are processing now i-130s recieved 11 February. How is it posisble that NVC sent you welcom letter on 1 March? My i-130 was approved 23 february but I have not received anything from NVC. Could you please let me know details: when your i-130 was approved and did you indeed receive welcome letter from NVC? and in email or mail? thank you

Hi, I don't know. I assume they are sent electronically so it does not actually take that long for the NVC to actually set it up in its system. My I130 was approved on 25 Feb 22 and both my wife and I received an email from the NVC with our letter on 1 March 22. Like all things immigration, I think there is just an element of luck when it comes to how quickly things are processed. They may have already set up a case and invoice number for you, just not sent the email/letter yet. Maybe call them and ask. I read they can give those numbers over the phone, so if you already have a case & invoice number assigned you can get started before the email/letter arrives. Hope that helps.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
