How did you figure out when nvc received it
Megabere on 2022-09-01 said:
I wasn't updated when they received it. Just got an email that they have sent the petition to the embassy. So I need to know what to do next while waiting for the embassy's message

Did you ever sent an inquiry to NvC after your NoA2 approval? If yes, how many days after Noa2 approval did you send the inquiry?
Megabere on 2022-10-13 said:
Hi! About 1 month after NOA2 approval, I sent an inquiry to NVC as I had not heard anything from NVC at that time. But I finally received NVC response 3weeks later, making a total of 7 weeks after NOA2

Congrats on your interview date? How did you receive your date? What's packet 3 and 4? Thanks!
Ola_shan on 2022-10-14 said:
Did you expedite at nvc to get an interview date or how were u able to secure a date cos they haven’t opened portal
Megabere on 2022-10-14 said:
@Best thank you. So I booked the interview appointment myself on the ceac website after I received the packet 4 email from the consular. So basically packet 2,3,4 are the mail's/emails the consular sends informing you of the next steps. You'd receive the packet 2 after NVC transfers your case to the consular where you'll be applying. Afterwards, they'll be contacting you for subsequent steps.

@Ola_shan I'm currently living in China, so we have interview dates available. It seems the Nigerian portal is temporarily shut

Good morning bro have you gotten your police certificate? If yes, is it the new one and how much is the cost right now?
Megabere on 2022-10-14 said:
@Brad_tuk so the police certificate I have from Nigeria I got it about 4 years ago at Abuja, at that time it was about 20k. Don't know the current cost of it
Megabere on 2022-10-14 said:
@Brad_tuk In China, I got it for less than $150
blank avatar Brad_tuk on 2022-10-14 said:
Ooh China i thought you were in Nigeria. Sorry my bad.
Megabere on 2022-10-14 said:
No problems bro, if you'll want to get it from Abuja, it's at area 10 police headquarters.
blank avatar Brad_tuk on 2022-11-15 said:
Congrats on your approval...pls what were the questions asked?
Megabere on 2022-11-15 said:
Thanks a lot. I was asked when I met my partner, where she works, her date of birth, whether we've met in the past 1 year

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
