I’m just the wife (petitioner) who filed jointly with father for husband (Canadian, the beneficiary).
I don’t remember exact dates but we went through Boundless Immigration, and our complete package was sent to USCIS sometime in November of November of 2021. Then we got the receipt to them receiving that in December 2021. Then in early spring we were notified our case was approved and sent to NVC. Uploaded all those documents in the late Spring. Was DQed on our anniversary, May 14.
Was notified for interview November 17, interview was December 10 (hubby’s medical exam was two days prior in Montreal. Was the only appoint he could get before the interview)
Was denied after interview because the medical wasn’t received by the consulate yet, but was assured that it would be approved later pending his medical. They kept his passport and said they would send with approve 4-6 weeks after they received his medical. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
