Super easy and straightforward! There is a long line when you arrive (as others have mentioned), get in the line on the left side to see someone to check your DS-160. They will mark you as a K-1 Visa and you'll head straight through to the security check. Don't be intimidated by the crowded waiting room, as that is for visas and not immigration. When you get to the immigration waiting room it will be like 4 people. They'll take your paperwork and then the longest bit is just waiting your turn for the interview! My fiancé was only asked one question, "How did you meet?" and then was approved on site! They said his passport would be mailed within 1-2 weeks and have a safe flight. We got an email with a tracking number for his passport 2 days later and it should be here tomorrow (so 5 business days total). |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
