Bobobobobo on 2022-07-31 said:
@Amelme, no, it's still on the way to the NVC

Did u try to call :/?
Bobobobobo on 2022-07-31 said:
@Amelme, it hasn't been a month yet, and the NOA2 says I only should reach out if it's taking more than that time frame.

:/ good luck

Any word from NVC, did you finally get your Embassy Case Number?
Bobobobobo on 2022-08-28 said:
No word from NVC. They're being slow. I'm guessing they have a lot of things on their plate.
PeterCrist on 2022-08-28 said:
Jeez ..frustrating. All the best!

Having trouble updating the timeline.. it says the time between the dates are too long :p
for the record, i received my case number for NVC September 13, 2022.

got my interview date. i checked the PKT 4 late, (7 days late), my fault for assuming my phone had email notifications on still.. but it's fine. I got my interview date, and my medical exam date is like a week before that. Feeling nervous. I'll update here once my medical and interview is concluded
Bobobobobo on 2022-10-14 said:
btw my only complain is that it is very costly even during this stage! :p lol
PeterCrist on 2022-10-14 said:
Nice update! You have pretty tight window between medical exam dan interview. Hopefully the surgeon is able to reassure results delivered to embassy on time. Not for long now, you can see the finish line!
Bobobobobo on 2022-10-14 said:
yes, i'm very excited but also nervous. the person on the phone for the medical appointment said that they'd be able to get it to them within 5 days, so I am hoping on that. well now I gotta prep for it !
Bobobobobo on 2022-11-08 said:
221g received- both because medical is still pending to be received and because I submitted the incorrect Canadian police criminal record check.
appointment to get my fingerprints for it is a week from now on. i'll have to send it off afterwards to the consulate. 2-3 weeks addition to the timeline, i suppose. my fault entirely for being careless, but when they ask for a reason why you're asking for a police record check, who knew u were to specify "privacy act, with rcmp national repository holdings" instead of just "visa application"

In the profile, you listed your country as Indonesia but the embassy is in Ottawa, Canada? Is your fiancee an Indonesian who resides in Canada? Congrats, I take it that you're approved with some pending documents to be sorted out!
Bobobobobo on 2022-11-09 said:
I don't know if I'm that optimistic, haha. I'm Indonesian but my status in Canada currently is visitor, so I deal with the US consulate in montreal.
The interviewer only told me that they'll review it once they have everything. So I can't be that optimistic about the end result.

Ahhh, I see. Tetap semangat!

Very grateful and glad that the being alone part of k1 Visa journey is over.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
