Hi Carmela and Dustin, congrats on getting your package 3. Hi have a question. did you have to scan and send all of the applicable documents on the list or could you indicate it will be ready before interview? Thanks in advance. Suresh VK

One more question. Did you receive your packet via email?

Hi SVklt, thank you. I sent only what they asked from me via email. Confirmation of DS-160, Scanned Packet 3 checklist, and a scanned color copy of my passport.
For the Packet 3 Checklist I printed it out signed, dated, and checked off which items are applicable to me to indicate they will be ready and then left others like military, death/divorce etc. blank.
I received my Packet 3 in the mail.

Hi Dustin and Carmela, congrats on your interview date. Mine isn't far off. I was wondering if you had to pay a visa fee before going to the consulate at Montreal and if so, how did you do it? I can't seem to figure it out. Your info is much appreciated. Thanks. Best wishes. Suresh VK

SVK I did pay a visa fee, online via credit card! You will need to create an account on this website (https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/iv/users/sign_in) and pay the visa fee via credit card or you can select pay cash and pay in person when you attend your interview. If you pay online make sure you are able to print your receipt and bring it with you as they will ask for the proof of payment.
I was approved on Jan 14th and i'm currently just waiting for my visa and package to get back to me :)
Good Luck!!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
