POE Dallas was very good, everything was fast. The second inspection together with the waiting time took almost 10 minutes. It was a good experience. |

I had a very good experience at the US consulate in Frankfurt. My appointment was at 07:30, I reached there at 7:15 but there were already some people waiting on the line ( mainly nonimmigrant Visa applicants). I was admitted at 07:25 to the consulate, I had no electronics with me which made the entrance much easier.
I went to the first window where I submitted my photo, my delivery confirmation and immigration fees. Then I sat down and was called to the next window where I submitted my birth certificate, marriage certificate and new police certificate. I was told to sit down and wait to be called for the interview, which was the longest wait ever.
Finally at around 09:15 my number appeared on the screen and I was called for the interview. It lasted almost 10 minutes. The officer was nice and polite. He asked me regular questions like
-how and when did you meet your husband?
-what does your husband do?
-where does he live?
-do you have children?
-were you previously married?
-what do you do?
-what do you intend to do in the US?
Also he asked some questions related to my I601 waiver, which was something expected.
At the end of the interview the officer informed me that he intends to approve my Visa Application.

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
