Terrible Experience. My husband's interview was at 730am. He arrived around 630. Finally at 12pm they called him for the interview. It was a very rude male officer. He only focused on my previous marriages and asked almost nothing about us. He told my husband it doesn't make sense that we were talking when I was legally separated and not divorced. Asked ex's name, age, where he was from, how we met, where we got married. He didn't even ask those questions about us.
He gave us the yellow paper saying more evidence needed and handed his passport back. I originally uploaded chat logs from the very beginning, about 200 photos of us and family. Affidavits from both sides of the family, lease with both our names, bank account with both our names, shared credit cards, etc.
My husband said he didn't request to see a single thing. The officer also argued with my husband regarding the date we marries, saying it's not what he showed. Overall very disappointed. |

Timeline Comments: 5Hello, did you expedite your I-130 ? Or are the processing times becoming faster now? 110 days is really good!
Hi! We did not expedite. We filed the I130 on 10/30/21. We then filed the K3 on 12/22/21. I do believe filing the K3 helped speed up the process, however there is no proof of this.
I'm a US citizen applying for my spouse to come to the states (I-130).
later on we gonna need to file affidavit of support I have Co-sponsers and they are paying their taxes yearly and all good with them.
The problem is I'm 22 I was in a hospital in years 2020 and 2021 and I have never worked but for a couple of months in 2022 and then left in September 2022 to be with my spouse.
I have managed to get my w-2 forms from the two places I have worked in in 2022 and my annual income was obviously low and I heard that I can file till Oct 2023.
So my question is how am I supposed to provide my tax returns for the last 3 years when I wasn't working and was on disability benefits?
if so how to do it from oversees?
Also how to prove a domicle in the states if I haven't lived there since September of last year ?
Hi when you go to certify the marriage at the Maazoun for the NVC stage do both spouses need to be present? thanks
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
