Biometrics Taken : Yes

Comments : There was some confusion upon arrival. The time taken to approve my case during Covid meant the USCIS application had expired but didn't impact my entry. They were unsure about this discrepancy and asked if I was aware it was expired or if the consulate gave a timeframe for me to enter. After a little while they confirmed it wasn't an issue and my visa was still valid for entry.

POE Review: Los Angeles
Event Description
Entry Date : 2021-03-26
Embassy Review : Only giving a 1 as there was a confusion with my application. Due to Covid my USCIS application had technically expired and I was questioned if the consulate had told me the last day I could enter the country. I was moved into a seperate office and after a couple agents discussed the issue they said my visa was still valid and my application didn't effect it. They sent ladies to pick up my bags from the carousel and were very nice despite the confusion.
Harassment Level : Low

Hey, have you had any further update since your biometrics? Still waiting for a change from being actively reviewed

Hello, absolutely nothing. It's gonna be an awful long wait I feel like.

No not yet. The processing times on Visajourney is suggesting they're up to June 21, 2021 for EAD receipt dates so I'm hoping mine is up for review very soon

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
