Hi! I'm also applying for k1 visa through singapore embassy. Do you know if the packet 3 checklist which needs to be mailed back refers to the same visa instructions page that we need to sign?

@MochiSamoyed - Yes the packet 3 is the instructions/checklist from the Singapore Embassy.
1. Sign it and mail back with the listed required docs.
2. Use it as proof you need to schedule medical exam, go get that taken care of asap.
3. Once Embassy receives med exam results from clinic, they'll contact you so you can schedule the interview.

thanks so much for your help @SeaSing! Do they contact us through physical mail again or email for the scheduling of the interview? And how long did you guys have to wait post sending in packet 3 before you were allowed to schedule an interview? :)

@MochiSamoyed - They will email you to schedule the interview once they receive everything. Note that it takes 2 weeks from date of getting medical exam for the embassy to receive and process. They will not email to schedule the interview until they receive packet 3 as well as the completed medical exam results.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
