Husband felt interview was good but that there was a lack of privacy and each interview could be heard by everyone awaiting their turn to be interviewed. Also as the interviewer was seated each person being interviewed was made to stand up. It was not very respectful of those being interviewed. They were treated more like livestock than humans.Pretty sad for a US consolate. Husband recieved 221 slip. husband was asked to come back to constlate a second time 1 week later. At this interview he was questioned in depth about our chat record conversations, him being muslim while I am christian and she accused him of fabricating my emails and said she was sending our petition back to USCIS! We were both in shock it was unbelievable.
11-17-08 Husband was interviewed by the consular chief in person! The chief was very nice and asked alot of questions and told my husband he can return weds to pick up his passport and visa!!!! Thanks for everyones prayers! |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
