Hey guys, first of all, congrats on receiving NOA2 :))) I see that it took a year from NOA1 to NOA2. I'm just wondering if you have expedited the case ?!
TIA for your response :)

I am actually so shocked, because I thought that we needed to do something else before the Consulate asks about the interview - it was 353 days and I know the only thing one can do is to make sure that you submit things right with a lawyer before hand, which we did not do at the time. I was ready to rot waiting for the first response but turns out they mentioned the process shouldn't take too long and that we should email the office if longer than 30 days - I guess there's hope after all - I saw some timelines from my country that took about 17 months until final interview so I'm a lot more hopeful now - I have little knowledge of what's next but excited to finally hear something back!

You had the interview already? From the list to prove petitioner citizenship, what did he sent the certificate of citizenship and the passport or both?

Hi there, we're still waiting, seems like the 30 days to email them have also been extended - the NVC is delayed and is still handling cases for October while ours is from November :)

This is a long process?

The interview? The interview itself was quick but the waiting for the interview was long - in the Paris Embassy of The United States our interview was booked for 10am and I only left at 12pm but they give you an answer if all paperwork is done and submitted correctly!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
