Hey sorry to bug you but I am still at the uscis stage and have a long road ahead. Do you mind sharing your airport experience when your significant other travels to the U.S.?

Hello! I'm currently in China preparing for my K1 visa application. So my petitioner only received email from NVC on August 24 saying my petition has been transferred to Guangzhou embassy. I just filled the DS160. I'm seeing things about packet 3/4 and I'm confused.
Please what else should I do at this time?

@Megabere Congratulations for getting email from NVC, that means you are the P2.5 stage, usually within 15 days, the beneficiary will get a packet from Guangzhou Embassy as we call it P3, when you got that packet, you will have to mail back what they asked for in the instructions page. Once the Embassy receives it, they will send you an email about how you can schedule your appointment as we call it P4. And all you need to do after P4 is to schedule an interview, prepare all the documents and attend the interview.

Thank you so much @Danli
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
