Event Description
Review Date : September 15, 2021
Embassy Review : Arrived on the day at 09:15 for the 10:00 interview. Got through the security (they were very nice) without any waiting time and got up to the waiting area by 09:30. Sat and waited for a few minutes for my number to be called, I then saw a man at a window who asked for my original copies of the civil documents uploaded to NVC. I handed them over and we went through a couple of other admin things like confirming I have not been married before and he went to fetch my medical results from a filing cabinet behind him. He took my fingerprints and I sat back down. Just after 10:00, I was called to a second window to see another man. He confirmed it was me by taking fingerprints and then I swore the oath. He asked a few questions, such as:

How did you meet your spouse?
When are you planning to travel to the US?
What are you planning to do in the US?
Who is your joint sponsor?

This took about 2 minutes and then he concluded by approving me on the spot! Overall it was a very pleasant and relaxed day.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
