Hi congrats! Btw how did you get notice the NVC har your case and that they have sent the case from NVC to the embassy?
Did you have to email and ask if it was shipped or they emailed you by then selves?
Thank you 😊

Hi! We had contacted them to realize they already had our case at NVC, there was no automatic notification of this. Once they were done with it they emailed us automatically that it had been sent out along with the letter.

Ok cool 😊 thank you

Congratulations. I'm curious how did you get scheduled for an interview just weeks after the consulate received the file?
I was saddened to see the average wait for interview is over 100 days average. So I'm curious how you got in so quickly. Thanks

Once the NVC emails you that it has left they will attach a letter. You do not need to wait for the mail to file your ds160. You can do everything concurrently from this point, so pay your fees and start searching for dates immediately. Do not check for appointment times more than 3 times per day.
Good luck!

Did you choose an initial appointment date and then continue searching for earlier dates
Danny & Brenda on 2022-11-28 said:
You can do this, but we were lucky a cancellation came available and it lines up with our medical appointment timing. This was the first date we chose.

Congrats on the interview date 🙂 Soo soon! Good luck with everything!!

How was the entry? :)
Danny & Brenda on 2023-01-01 said:
Entered into Chicago. They opened her embassy yellow packet and then stamped her passport and that was it. Super easy :)

So quick between receiving your visa and entering the US, did you do the CFO?
Danny & Brenda on 2023-03-21 said:
Yes she did it right after having her passport mailed back to her from the embassy with the visa inside if I remember correctly. They required her to have the K1 visa to complete the seminar.

Congrats on the AOS approval! that is absolutely fantastic
we applied 2 weeks after you guys but got an RFE and we responded over 1 month ago but they haven't even
uploaded our new documents online yet....
I guess texas office is slower than your office. Yours was SUPER fast LOL
Very happy for you guys!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
